Navigating New Territory Post-Awakening: Mental Realm (Part 1 of 4 part series)
Awakening directly impacts us mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. In part one of a four-part series, we are covering the mental realm of navigating new territory post-awakening.
Cognitive Shift: When one awakens, the cognitive landscape undergoes a profound transformation. Our previous understanding of reality dissolves, revealing a new, more expansive map of existence. We not only lose who we once thought we were, we also lose our entire perception of the world as we once knew it. This shift can be incredibly disorienting as it challenges the fundamental notions of identity and the world around us.
Egoic Timeline Disappears: The mind, once a fortress of rigid beliefs and perceptions, begins to soften. The mental realm post-awakening is characterized by a heightened awareness that transcends the former confines of thought and self-conception. We experience a dissolution of the egoic timeline, which previously anchored us in the past and future, allowing us to embrace life in the present moment fully.
From Noise to Stillness: The mind, often a relentless producer of negative noise, gradually yields to a state of stillness. With fewer intrusive thoughts, there is an emergence of silence and an expansion of bliss and happiness. Silence, happiness, peace and contentment were always present but blocked by the noise of the negative mind machine. This newfound clarity and peace enable us to be more discerning about where we invest our time and energy, fostering deeper connections and more meaningful engagements.
Doership Dissolves: In this altered mental landscape, the concept of “doership” transforms. The compulsion to control and accomplish is replaced by an effortless flow of being. Life becomes a spontaneous dance of awareness, seamlessly integrating the body and mind into a harmonious expression of existence.
